Kenya is likely to be the first country in Africa to use green energy by 2020 if she continues using sustainable renewable energy sources. Speaking during the opening of the powering Kenya into a green energy future conference in Nairobi, Prime Minister Raila Odinga said the country has resources and will power to use green energy. Kenya will be used as a pilot country to use green energy to provide electricity in the forthcoming Copenhagen conference.
